Raynaud's phenomenon and arthritis cause extreme pain and can make the quality of life difficult. Luckily, there are ways to alleviate symptoms caused by these issues.
Here we will discuss the common problems people with these conditions have and how G-Tech Heated Pouch is the most effective product for Raynaud's and Arthritis symptoms.
What is Raynaud's Phenomenon?
A person suffering from Raynaud's phenomenon experiences swelling and numbness in some areas of their body. Their fingers or toes may swell or turn numb. These symptoms are in response to cold temperatures or stress.
The smaller arteries that supply blood to your skin become narrow, reducing blood flow in affected areas. The narrowing of the arteries is known as vasospasm.
Raynaud's disease, or Raynaud's phenomenon, is more common in women than in men. Old people and the immune-compromised have higher chances of developing these symptoms. Those who live in colder climates may be more prone to the condition as well.
The signs and symptoms of Raynaud's may include...
- Having cold fingertips or toes
- Stress and cold changing the color of the skin
- Feeling numb, stingy, or prickly may occur after warming or stress relief
Causes of Raynaud's
The exact cause of Raynaud's attacks is unknown, but blood vessels in the hands and feet appear to overreact to cold temperatures or stress.
When exposed to cold or stress, the arteries to your fingertips and toes become narrow and briefly restrict blood flow. These small arteries can thicken slightly over time, further limiting blood flow.
Cold temperatures trigger most attacks. The most common trigger is exposure to low temperatures, such as getting your hands wet in cold water, opening a freezer, or stepping into cold air. Emotional stress may trigger an episode occasionally. These triggers vary from person to person. The severity of symptoms varies as well.
Is This Disease Similar to Arthritis?
The most common form of Raynaud's is primary Raynaud's. This is when there is no known underlying disorder causing the issues.
In the secondary form of Raynaud's, the blood vessels are affected by various diseases. These diseases include, but are not limited to...
- Rheumatoid arthritis (RA)
- Lupus
- Sjogren's syndrome
Additionally, the condition can be caused by repeated trauma. Such as repeated vibrations or jarring of the feet or hands. Smoking may also pose a risk.
Ways To Alleviate Symptoms
There are a few things you can do to help alleviate symptoms. During cold weather, keep your home at a comfortable temperature. Wear warm clothing, especially on your hands and feet.
Engage in regular physical activity, for this improves blood circulation. For relaxation and stress relief, you may wish to try breathing exercises or yoga. Maintain a healthy, well-balanced diet. If you smoke cigarettes, this is another reason you want to quit the habit.
A new high-tech gadget is also available in addition to the methods mentioned. The G-Tech Heated Pouch Hand Warmer provides instant warmth for the hands-and instant relief from cold temperatures!

I have Raynaud’s, Scleroderma and Rheumatoid Arthritis. My hands are always cold and hand warmer packes are inconvenient and sometimes hard o use. My boyfriend purchased a heated pouch for me about a month age. It is wonderful! The pouch has a belt so I can strap it around my waist when I tale a walk or go to the grocery store. I wear it in the evening when I watch TV. I also use it when I’m on my computer; when my hands get cold I put them in the pouch until they warm up and then I go back to work. I’ve used a lot of products to keep my hands warm and this is the BEST for keeping hands warm. I’ve told fellow scleroderma patients about this heated pouch. Thank you G-Tech!
